About Subyeon

Busan-style pork rice soup, simmered 24 hours a day, all year round, by Millak Waterside Park.

ABOUT

“Sincerity that began by the waterside — now one of Korea’s finest bowls, far beyond Busan.”

Subyeon Choego Dwaeji Gukbap began in a small alley by Millak Waterside Park in Busan. From the moment we first opened our doors early in the morning and set the broth to simmer, one principle has never changed: to serve uncompromising food, made as if for our own family.

A clean broth, deep and rich with no gamey smell; tender, carefully selected pork in generous portions; and fresh geotjeori kimchi made every day to pair perfectly with every bowl.

More than just a meal, Subyeon Choego offers travelers to Busan an unforgettable memory, and offers locals a hearty bowl that is always a warm comfort.

With traditional flavor and sincerity that never change over time, we will put our very best into every moment of the Subyeon Choego journey.
